The Club’s annual closed competition is to be held this year over the weekend of 9th & 10th July.
A chance to make a name for yourself or just have some fun. As the competition is not so very far away and a lot of work has to be done to ensure it’s smooth running, your early return of the entry form would be very much appreciated.
On both the Saturday and Sunday refreshments will be made available throughout the day. Once all entries are in and a time table has been worked out you will be sent a form confirming your entries and a time to report for your matches.
If you would like to take part please complete the Entry Form and return it to Alan Shepherd, his address is on the entry form.
You can see the regulations covering the Closed Championships here.
It has been brought to my attention that some people are unclear about the ‘Drawn Doubles’ event.
You do not need to supply a partner as when all entries are in players will divided into better and weaker players. All better players are then paired with weaker players at random to make balanced teams so don’t be put off.
One last thing, in case you hadn’t spotted the event fees they are listed at the bottom of the rule sheet.
