On the Saturday four Middlesex boys turned up who had not been entered and two Surrey boys expecting to play in the Under 11 event. All were found places in the Under 15 event replacing other entered players who did not turn up. 
One Under 11 entered girl was found to be 11 before the event started and was switched to the Under 13 event. A second girl was found to be 11 three quarters of the way through the event and was allowed to finish her games in the event but her results were discounted in the final analysis.
