On Sunday, 21 January 2007 Ellenborough Table Tennis
Club proudly re-opened after refurbishment with a Premier British League
event involving eight of the best teams from around the country. After a
full day of top class table tennis, enjoyed by many guests, members and
friends of the club, the evening was given over to a reception in honour
of those who had helped in any way to enable the new facilities to become
a reality. Amongst those present to enjoy the event were the
Mayor and Mayoress of Enfield, Tony Dey and Mrs Dey, along with local MP,
Joan Ryan. Other guests included Lord Bryan Davies, President of
Ellenborough TTC; Councillors, Anne Marie Pearce, Peter Conisbee, Alex
Murdoch, Chairman of the English Table Tennis Association and other ETTA
officials; Michael Close, Chairman of Middlesex Table Tennis Association
and many other friends of the club. Terry Wilson |
