History of the Club
Ellenborough Table Tennis Club was formed in 1936 as a section of a Lawn Tennis Club in Wood Green which had taken its name from nearby Ellenborough Road. After the Second World War the club moved to the Bowes Pavilion at Tottenhall Sports Ground, Palmers Green until 1973 when the pavilion was totally destroyed by fire.

Three years later in 1976, the new club opened on its present site. This was due to the combined efforts of our former President, the late Ken Oliver, Enfield Council, the Sports Council and extensive fund raising by the members.
