Vincent Stacey - Runner-up Under 13 Boy's
Denise Payet - Bronze Medal Under 11 Girl's
Vincent Stacey of Enfield Grammar School and Denise Payet of George Spicer School both starred at the recent ESTTA (English Schools Table Tennis Association) Individual National Finals in Doncaster. Vincent finished runner-up in the U13’s registering very impressive wins over James Hobson (West Yorkshire) and Daniel McTieran (Berkshire) on route to the final. Denise Payet of George Spicer school chalked up numerous straight set wins before losing narrowly in the semi-final to Kate Cheer (13-11 in the fifth set).

London Region Squad Success
Separately, five players from Ellenborough TTC (Eda Aydin, Samantha Lai, Denise Payet, Vincent Stacey and Daniel Wright) were all selected to represent London Region in the ETTA (English Table Tennis Association) inter-regional squad championships the following day. London won with both Eda Aydin and Daniel Wright winning important matches at the climax of the team final against the East Midlands. Eda beat Amy Humphreys (England No. 4 U13 Girl) deuce in the fifth set and Daniel beat Miles Chan (England No. 15 Cadet Boy) deuce in the fifth.
