In the Sussex U-13 Junior 4* Girls open singles unseeded Denise Payet from Middlesex upset the seeding by beating the number 1 seed Jane Li 3-0 in the semi-final and then beating her close rival Kate Cheer the number 2 seed from Sussex 3-1.
