Since the foundation of the club, many team and individual achievements have been gained from early 1980's through to the present.

In the 70’s and 80’s Ellenborough grew in stature as a table tennis club with an international reputation, due to the number of home grown players representing their respective countries. These included Graham Sandley, Colin Wilson, Leon Smith, John Kitchener, Nigel Tyler, Mark Mitchell and David Tan.

In team events: Ellenborough was one of the founder member clubs in the Premier Division of the then Halex National Club League - In the Men's category - Winners in 1981/82 and 1984/85 and runner up the alternate years - such was our strength. We are proud to say all our players in those days came through the development programme.

In 1988 we entered a new Men's team in the then Leeds British League - Winners of 3rd Division East - this team has competed every year since and is now in the British League Premier Division - for the last two seasons finishing in the top half of a very strong division.

Through the years Ellenborough has had teams in the British League in all categories Cadet, Junior, Senior & Veteran.

The Ellenborough club has organised the North London National Junior and National Cadet League competitions since 2000 until the present time. In terms of performance Ellenborough can be proud of the fact that the club has won both the National Junior and the National Cadet Leagues every year for the last four years, from 2011/2012 to 2014/2015.

Since 2011, Ellenborough has organised the revamped National Junior(NJL) and National Cadet Leagues(NCL) on behalf of Table Tennis England and is one of only 16 venues around the country able to hold these events. The aim of NJL and NCL is to provide local competitive matches for juniors particularly for those who find play in local evening leagues unsuitable. It also enables juniors to gain ranking points and establish themselves on the Table Tennis England ranking lists and is therefore an important step in the player pathway for the development of juniors in table tennis.

Ellenborough was awarded by the Table Tennis England the Premier “Club of the Year” in 2001/3/4.

2011/12 - Ellenborough won the Boys Junior British League Premier Division. In 2015/16 Ellenborough won the Girls Junior British League Premier Division.

The Club places great emphasis on continuing the tradition of attracting local table tennis talent and nurturing these players into high class performers. This is possible due to the well constructed coaching regimes, covering all ages and playing conditions to match.

Our juniors are the future of the club and have achieved recent success in the country championships, British National League, National Championships and International Schools Competitions. Participants include:
Denise Payet, Amelia Chan, Jaycee Chan, Kevin Fang, George Coulson, Stuart Herriott, Lehman Chan, Ray Yan, Fraser Donnelly, Sophie Chiang, Jasmine Chan all of whom will be stars of the future.
